RFID Inventory contrl system for shopping malls

Today there exists no well defined body of knowledge a student must learn to become proficient in RFID Technology. This is an emerging field and builds on access- control,tracking goods and objects. This project is based on developing an RFID based inventory control system. An embedded system is developed for inventory control system where an rfid tag is attached to each item so that when its bought towards the RFID reader it scans and checks whether that particular item is authorized that is item belongs to that particular mall. An Embedded system is developed for inventory control systems. An inventory control system is an integrated package of software and hardware used in warehouse operations, and elsewhere, to monitor the quantity, location and status of inventory as well as the related shipping, receiving, picking and putaway processes. The system comprises of a microcontroller and LCD display, regulated power supply, EEPROM, RFID module or reader interfaced to this system via RS232 and RTC. Programs are developed using Embedded C, using SDCC compilation. FLASH MAGIC is used to load program into microcontroller
