The field strength measurements in All India Radio networks are very essential and
which is conducting every year for finding out the primary and secondary coverage areas. For
doing this measurement the actual distance from the transmitting antenna to the measuring
site cannot be calculated accurately so far. So an approximation is considered during
measurements. Here we introduce a state of art technique with the help of GPS receiver for
finding actual distance and monitoring the field strength with the help of a Real Time Field
Strength Analyzer and the entire data base can be stored sequentially for later analysis. By this
arrangement field strength measurement and analysis is made very easy and plotting of graphetc can be done in no time.
